Admission Requirements

  • 3 passes in the HKCEE, and Level 2 / Grade E or above in Chinese Language & English Language with 2 years of working experience; or

  • Satisfactory completion of Project Yi Jin Programme with 2 years of working experience; or

  • Being 21 years of age or above; or

  • Other equivalent qualifications to be assessed by LIFE.

Programme Objectives

Provide an introduction to the concepts and practices of human resource management within HKSAR. Provide an understanding of the human resource management role and function within the key areas of resourcing, reward, development and relations.

  • The contact hours are 30 hours

  • The course has been included in the list of reimbursable courses for Continuing Education Fund (CEF) purposes (The CEF course code is 21Z084283)

Programme Overview

This course provides further education opportunity for Form Five, Project Yi Jin graduates or mature adults. Graduates of this course may articulate to higher level of studies or join the workforce.

Assessment

  • Students’ performance is assessed by the continuous assessments (i.e. written assignment / projects), practicum and examinations. The weighting of assessment for continuous assessments is 60% and examination is 40%.

  • The passing mark for both continuous assessment and examination is 50%.

  • Students are required to achieve a minimum of 80% attendance in each subject.
