• 3 passes in the HKCEE, and Level 2/Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language ; plus a pass in 1 AL subject or 2 AS-level subjects in the HKALE; or

• A recognised Pre-Associate Degree or Diploma; or

• Being 23 years of age or above; or

• Other equivalent qualifications to be assessed by LIFE.

This course aims to teach students about the nature of work in modern society.  Students are going to explore the diversity of the workforce in terms of industrial and organizational (I-O) psychology, business psychology, personnel psychology and applied psychology in psychology departments and business schools at the community college.

• Contact hours are 32 hours.

 
Medium of Instruction

• The medium of instruction will be in Cantonese supplemented by English. (Study materials will mainly be in English.)

 
Assessment

• Students’ performance is assessed by the continuous assessments (i.e. written assignments / projects /  practicum) and examinations. The weighting of assessment for continuous assessments is 60% and examination is 40%.

• The passing mark for both continuous assessment and examination is 50%.

• Students are required to achieve a minimum of 80% attendance.
