Learning Resources Centres
In order to enrich students' learning experience, CCLU & LIFE has established several Learning Resources Centres at different centres, aiming to provide a wide variety of reference books, textbooks as well as leisure books for causal reading. Learning Resources Centres are organized independent of LU Library, and they are obligated to provide the following services:
Books Lending Service
All full time CCLU and LIFE students can use their student card to borrow materials.

^ Books can be renewed for 2 times within 7 days before the due dates.
Late penalty is HK$2/day.
Loss and Damage - Borrowers are responsible for any loss of or damage to items charged out. They are liable for the cost of the replacement, a processing fee (HK$100), and the accumulated overdue fine.
Laptop Computers On Loan Service
There are laptop computers available for all full time CCLU and LIFE students to borrow. The maximum loan period is 1 working day and need to hand on the application before one working day. Stocks are limited, students may ask the duty staff for more details.
Photocopiers & Printers Printing Service
Photocopying and printing services are operated by Octopus card in Learning Resources Centres.
Charges for photocopying and printing using Photocopiers are $0.3 per page for A4 and $0.6 per page for A3.
Discussion Rooms On Loan Service
Discussion rooms are available at TST Education Centre and Tsuen Wan Optimall Education Centre. Please contact our duty staff if needed.

Arrangement of Transfer Books between University Library to LIFE Education Centres
Full-time Associate Degree, Higher Diploma and Diploma students can request for sending print volumes available at the University Library to Tsim Sha Tsui Education Centre, Jordan Austin Education Centre and Tsuen Wan Optimall Education Centre via the reservation in the library webpage. Students may print the reservation page and approach our counter staff for further assistance.
