1. Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes (E-APP) Application
Applications taking the HKDSE in 2015 can submit the application via Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes (E-APP) www.eapp.gov.hk.

2. Application in Person or by Mail

Applicants may submit an application with the following items in person or by post to UG01, New Academic Block, Lingnan University, Tuen Mun, N.T.:

• Duly completed application form

• Photocopy of applicant's HKID card or passport

• Photocopy of relevant academic certificates

• The original bank receipt of application fee

• Credentials (if any)

Remarks: Applicants should provide original copies of (2) and (3) for verification upon submission of application form in person or participation in interview.
 

Application Fee

HK$100 (For local students) / HK$250 (For non-local students)
Remarks: All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Pay in cash or a crossed cheque / bank draft (payable to "Lingnan University") to the following bank account at any branch of the Bank of East Asia Limited:

Pay at Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) by following the steps below:

• Select "Bill Payment"

• Select "Education – Universities"

• Select "Lingnan University"

• Enter "01" for "Bill Type"

• Key in "22517940000" (11 digits) as "Payment Reference Number"

• Enter application fee amount

• Collect the "Customer Advice"

Pay at Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) by following the steps below:

• Select "Bill Payment"

• Select "Education"

• Select "Lingnan University"

• Enter "01" for "Bill Type"

• Key in "22517940000" (11 digits) as "Payment Reference Number"

• Enter application fee amount

• Collect the "Customer Advice"
   

Assessment & Interview

Admission interviews will be arranged once the application is received. Early applications stand a better chance of being admitted.
 

Use of Information

Personal data provided as part of an application for admission will be used solely for the purpose of admission. Personal data of successful applicants will become part of student record for academic, administrative, student activities, alumni management, research, statistical and marketing purposes. The data will be handled by the staff of the Community College at Lingnan University, Lingnan Institute of Further Education and Lingnan University. In all such circumstances, data will be treated in a confidential manner. The application form and other related personal information may be retained after the admission exercise for statistical and research purposes.
Applicants have the right to request access to and correction of the personal data under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. For such requests, please write to Registry and Admission Division (UG01, New Academic Block, Lingnan University, Tuen Mun, N.T.).
